We believe that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect at every stage of their lives. The purpose behind an Adult Family Home comes from the word in the center, "family." Throughout our many years of experience, we have learned of the challenges that sometimes accompany aging. We understand deeply what that transition can be like and we have learned to both give support and encourage independence simultaneously for as we age, we need both. Every person who lives in our home is treated as family, we love and laugh together as we live our daily lives.
Compassion
We believe that it can be very difficult to lose the ability to do the things one has always done for one's self. There are many things that we support and assist in each day to ensure that our clients are comfortable both emotionally and physically. Since it can be difficult to rely on others, we understand that it is not always comfortable to ask for help. Our caregivers are very attuned to what the needs are of those for whom they are caring and they are skilled at anticipating what someone may need or want.

We believe that laughter is good for the soul and creativity is pure joy, “To be creative means to be in love with life.
